Therefore, we consider it essential that the successful candidate has experience as a Quantity Surveyor helping to deliver large-scale civil engineering projects.
It is desirable for the candidate to also have QS experience delivering residential projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and Senior QS, your Key Responsibilities will be:

Assessment of Completed Works on Site

Production & Submittal of Interim Payment Applications

Pricing & Agreeing Variation Orders with Clients

Conduct Quantity Take-offs and Produce Bills of Quantities for Tender Submissions

Cost Management of Ongoing Projects

Review Contractor Invoices to Verify Quantities and Costs

Contract Administration

Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management.

Proven Experience in a Quantity Surveyor Role for a minimum of 3 Years.

Excellent knowledge of Groundworks and Civil Engineering.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to form strong working relationships both internally and externally.

Experience allocating work to subcontractors and negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.

Experience preparing and analysing costing for tenders.

Experience preparing Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) Reports.

Full clean UK Driving Licence

Provable eligibility to work in the UK (The company will not provide sponsorship in this regard)

Construction Estimating & Takeoff Software such as OnSight, Bluebeam etc.

Microsoft Teams
