Welding Supervisor Position

We are a thriving and expanding company based in Hainault, Ilford with an opportunity within the company for a Welding Supervisor position to join a on a full-time, permanent, long-term basis.

Being part of an established and fast paced factory, the Welding Supervisor will be running our welding department ensuring all processes are adhered to and quality of work is of a high level. If you are currently a welder with mig, tig experience and maybe looking to take on a supervisory role, this could be an opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising our welding team ensuring work is carried out in the correct order.


• Ensuring the quality of work being produced in your department is of high quality and delivered in an efficient manner.
  
  You must have good experience of reading engineering drawings and understanding weld symbols.


• Willing to accept training to program and set up our co-bot welding systems (robot welding).


• Must have good communication skills and speak fluent English.


• Experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is essential.


• Implement safety procedures e.g. risk assessment of your area with continuous H&S overview.


• Complete pre and post weld inspection of welding equipment set ups to ensure compliance with the specified standard.


This opportunity is available with an immediate start due to ongoing customer projects. This role requires management of existing skilled welders, and throughput of work.

The rate of pay is up to £20 per hour depending on experience. The role will be full time only, Monday-Friday.
