Full Job Description

  • Supporting the Manager in leading a team of waiting or bar staff to deliver an excellent level of food, drink, bar or wine service. Ensuring the customer's expectations are met and exceeded at every opportunity.

  • Compliance with Food Hygiene regulations, Health and Safety regulations, Manual Handling guidelines and Licensing laws.

  • Accurate taking of orders and clear communication with Managers, Chefs and the Back of House Team regarding customer orders and dietary requirements.

  • Mentoring and development of new casual staff to deliver service excellence. Feeding back to the manager on any performance issues or shortfalls in service delivery.

  • Speed of service and drinks delivery from our corporate bars.

  • Ensuring your restaurant or bar is cleaned to the highest standard and stock is correctly rotated.

  • Leading and supervising a team to set up rooms or corporate bars to the Delia brand standard.

    Restaurant and Bar Supervisors - Experience in restaurants or bars is essential. Experience in a supervisory role, as well as a working knowledge of wines and cocktails would be of benefit., Experience in a supervisory role or natural leadership skills.

  • The ability to be a role model for casual staff; pride in your appearance, leading by example in delivering the Delia brand standard, whilst demonstrating the Clubs values and behaviours.

  • The ability to work alone or lead a small team.

  • A resilient, calm and confident approach to working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and mentor team members

  • Bar supervisors will have an understanding of cellar management.

    Our matchdays are typically on Saturdays with some weekday evening and Sunday matches.


  • A typical shift is 5 - 8 hours depending on the game and job role. This is a casual, hourly paid position.,
