Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will help support the Team Managers on our new exciting contract. You'll be assisting them by helping to keep the operation running smoothy and efficiently. Your main task will be to motivate and lead a team of warehouse operatives to success by working as a team to meet customer expectations and achieve KPIs . The successful Team Leader will be appointed on a full-time basis at our Sheffield site based in Chapeltown S35, and you'll be working across either our AM or PM shift Monday - Friday. During this time, you will be coached and developed by our Operational site managers, and together you will work to deliver company objectives and make this a great place to work for our operatives., + Leading and coaching your team to success by helping them to achieve their KPI's
+ Putting your people first and identifying any key opportunities to plan development needs within your team to upskill and enhance
+ Being responsible for the health and safety of yourself and the team, by always maintaining set standards outlined in the Health and Safety policies and procedures
+ Conducting regular team meetings and briefs to update the wider team on best practices and continuing expectations whilst providing any wider company information they may need to know
+ Keeping up excellent communication between all stakeholders throughout the business with regular updates and requirements to help meet best practices

+ Previous and proven experience in a logistics distribution working environment
+ Knowledge and understanding of the use of warehouse management systems
+ Good people management, leadership & influential skills
