Full Job Description

Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you may also be required to participate in a weekend rota and/or an out of hour.
Joining our team at Chapelfield, you will receive a strong support network in practice, having dedicated and experienced clinical mentor - vet GDP advisor working alongside you to ensure your continuing progress. You will be also working with other very experienced Vets and Nurses making your journey an enjoyable and satisfying process. You will be supported to explore your interests and professional goals.

The Chapelfield group has been a significant part of the Norwich and Norfolk community for a great many years and has been a beacon of high-quality Veterinary care for our clients. We have long established small animal and equine practices across Norwich and East Anglia. We have five practices in and around Norwich. Our small animal practices are in Norwich, Wymondham, Long Stratton, Brooke and Costessey with our Equine centre at our purpose-built Brooke site.
Our staff and the Chapelfield team are our biggest strength, in addition to the fantastic facilities we have to offer our clients. We have over 30 Vets working across all disciplines and ranging from new graduates to established senior colleagues with many years of experience and knowledge to share with the team. The group has extensive specialist services including Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic surgery. We are currently building and developing our Nursing team with a multi-disciplinary programme of role review, development, and enhancement to better support the veterinary team. We are looking for enthusiastic Vets to join our team and help shape the
new future of this large and growing veterinary partnership.

We are offering ultrasound with doppler, DR radiography, dental radiography, ECG, multiparameter monitors for anaesthesia, cautery, new microscopes, Phovia - innovative laser for wounds management, ophthalmology equipment including tonometry, brand new otoscopy equipment and many more.
