Skilled Labourer

We are currently seeking 2 skilled labourers to join our team working in the South Birmingham area. As a skilled labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on construction sites and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the company.

The first position is to join our external building team who are responsible for building residential extensions and new builds from the start until the roof goes on. The second position is to join our internal fit out team who are responsible for completing the inside of extensions, new builds and carrying out conversion work.

Duties:

• General set up and clean up tasks



• Load and unload materials and equipment



• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently



• Operate hand and power tools as required



• Maintain a clean and organised work environment



• Maintenance and care of construction equipment, tools and vehicles



• Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
  
  The ability to follow written and spoken instructions



• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks



• Excellent team working skills



• Comfortable working at height



• Basic numeracy and literacy skills



• Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures



• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
