This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategy Team, who play a vital role in supporting the Executive and Board to set the strategic direction of the College – identifying priorities that will set our future direction over the medium to long term.
As a Senior Strategy Officer, you will be responsible for providing facilitation support to senior leaders to test strategy concepts and formulate our corporate strategy document for consideration and sign-off. You will work across the organisation to ensure our strategic ambitions drive our business plans and that our work is focussed on delivering the commitments we’ve made to policing. You will support delivery leads to design coherent programmes at work aimed at achieving transformational change in policing, utilising methods such as logic models and behavioural change science. You will lead on engagement and collaborative working with key stakeholders across policing to understand and shape demand; identify, agree and scope future priorities., We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:

• Degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification or significant equivalent experience
• Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
• Experience of preparing and presenting high quality strategy/policy/briefing papers
• Experience of collaborative working, establishing positive working relationships and engaging and eliciting information from a board variety of stakeholders
• Ability to think and plan strategically, see the bigger picture and to exercise sound judgement in the face of conflicting pressures
• Experience of line management and/or coaching to improve performance
