Full Job Description

We are an award-winning building design consultancy and 2024 is looking to be our busiest year yet. With exciting new projects coming up with our Partner North Yorkshire Council and private sector clients, we are looking for a Senior Highway Technician to join us at Align Property Partners. You will play a vital part in supporting the team as we continue to grow.

In this role you will share your knowledge of Auto Cad (or similar software) to provide technical support on data collection and analysis, and technical surveys and analysis to the wider team.

You will have the opportunity to deliver efficient and cost-effective projects contributing to the delivery of Highways projects from the start through to completion. You will advise other members of the team on engineering principles as well as working collaboratively with members of our multi disciple workforce and clients. If you have worked in a design consultancy environment previously, this will give you a real advantage.

  • A ONC in Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • Knowledge in design, specification and delivery of highway projects in accordance with current guidelines, standards and specifications relating to the delivery of designs

  • Experience of using AutoCAD or similar design software programme

  • Evidence of providing Highways technical advice and support to clients, team members and across other disciplines.

  • A good understanding of other building and engineering related disciplines OR requirements of these in the effective design, co-ordination and delivery of projects
