School Support Officer (Cover & Examinations)

We are looking for a candidate with a 'can do' attitude, flexible approach to working and to be able to work on their own initiative. You will be committed to improving the educational outcomes of our pupils and will undertake duties as required to support this aim. You will be able to work calmly under pressure and be an effective team player. Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of duties undertaken.

The main duties of this post are:

• To assist the Examinations and Cover Manager with arranging daily cover/recording sickness absence and deploying cover supervisors.



• To assist the Examinations and Cover Manager with the management of external and internal examinations



• To administer school trips and visits, including liaising with trip leader, parents and managing income



• Other general administrative duties commensurate with the grade.


The vacancy is 37 hours per week, on a term time only basis, working 39 weeks of the academic year.
