Full Job Description
We are in search of an adept Responsible Individual to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director, the chosen candidate will assume a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of the organisation. Responsibilities encompass strategic leadership for residential provisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding the highest levels of care.,
- Oversee the quality of care within our client's residences and supervise individualised care planning for all young individuals.
- Offer on-site assistance to Registered Managers, Support Teams, and Young Individuals.
- Provide regular updates to the Director, ensuring each provision functions optimally in alignment with the client's ethos.
- Guarantee compliance with pertinent regulations and standards, such as the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Care Standards.
- Prepare provisions for routine Ofsted inspections and support Registered Managers in guiding inspections.
- Mentor and evaluate Registered Managers, conducting formal supervisions and identifying training requirements.
- Manage financial budgets in accordance with regulations and contractual obligations.
- Ensure efficient safeguarding of young individuals under our client's care and extend support to Registered Managers.
- Foster professional growth and uphold high standards of practice among staff members.
- Maintain precise administrative systems and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Advocate for a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Assist in staff recruitment processes and oversee HR procedures.
- Contribute to organisational expansion and service enhancement endeavours.
- Cultivate positive relationships with placing authorities and commissioners.
- Ensure effective communication and participation to meet the needs of young individuals.
At least 5 years of experience in residential care, including a minimum of 3 years at the Registered Managers level or above, with evidence of "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings. - 1 year of Senior Management experience.
- Proficiency in leading disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Experience in workforce restructuring and development.
- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, protocols, and best practices.
- QCF Level 5 certification in Leadership and Management for Children's Residential Services.
- Experience in directly managing registered managers.
- Background in business growth and service development.
- Desirable: CIM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management, CIPD Level 7 in Human Resource Management.
