Full Job Description
Brown Shipley are now seeking a Reconciliation & Reporting Administrator to join the team, on a part time basis, based in London., 1. Carry out all administration activities required as part of the team's core responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner. This will include reconciliations, client reporting, valuation production and tax reporting.
2.Ensure that all relevant company procedures are complied with and that all relevant legal and regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
3.Ensure that all reasonable requests received from key stakeholders are carried out efficiently and accurately.
4. Keep up to date with legislative, regulatory and HMRC practices (where applicable) affecting relevant processes.
5.Develop professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate, professional qualifications.
6.Assist with developing and maintaining internal procedures, checklists and guidance notes
Ideal candidate will have good experience working in an investment management/wealth management environment.
Knowledge and experience of working in a client reporting or reconciliations environment.
Understanding of FCA rules and regulations around Client Reporting and CASS
Knowledge of UK tax on investments and instruments, especially with regard to CGT and income tax for tax year end reporting is desirable.
Good experience of balancing multiple or competing priorities and managing a demanding workload, Ability to manage competing deadlines and ensure regulatory deadlines are adhered to.
Proactive attitude, able to prioritize tasks and work in a virtual team environment
Highly motivated and driven, has high standards, attention to detail and is empathetic to clients, colleagues and business stakeholders
Desire to collaborate across functions within local and group entities.
Strong and effective written/verbal communication skills
Good time management and organisational skills
Technical Skills
Knowledge and understanding of CASS regulations and client money requirements
Languages Skills
Fluent in English, any additional European Language advantageous
