Full Job Description
- Design complex systems and components (welded structures, mechanical parts, electromechanical machines) that meet the customer needs and requirements.
- Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
- Elaborate robust technical documentation.
- Decisive role in relationship with clients and suppliers.
- Coordinate activities in UK and support UK procurement.
- Prepare technical offers for our future projects.
- Internal reporting of activities to the parent company.
- Supervise assembly, testing and commissioning activities.

Master degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. - 5-10 years of experience in an equivalent position.
- Previous working experience in the Space industry is a plus.
- Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, welded structures, electromechanics etc.
- Experience in writing technical and administrative documentation.
- Proficient with 3D modelling software, CATIA V5 preferably.
- Ability to interpret/create technical drawings.
- Must be self-sufficient - able to work under minimal supervision, fast-thinking and pro-active.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Knowledge of system engineering is a plus.
- Certification in project management (PMI or equivalent) is a plus.
- Ability to travel in the UK and abroad (around 10-20 % of you working time).
