Primary Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Design Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on National Grid and SSEN projects. This is a contract role based in Staffordshire, offering hybrid working arrangements and competitive hourly pay. The contract falls outside of the IR35.

The successful candidate will work on our National Grid and SSEN substation projects, contributing to the design and development of primary substation layouts. This is a contract role, offering competitive pay on a daily or hourly rate basis, and is classified as outside IR35.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing primary substation layout designs for National Grid and SSEN substation projects.


• Collaborating with teams to identify design requirements.


• Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.


• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the design or implementation phase.
  
  Proven experience as a Primary Substation Layout Engineer, particularly with National Grid and SSEN substation projects.


• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
