Full Job Description

We would like someone who will help us to engage with the local community by supporting us to go to events and on days out such as 'Fun Station' and swimming. As well as this we all enjoy gaming with our current favourites being Fortnight and Fifa.

Are you a cool, enthusiastic, energetic and friendly person who has a good understanding of supporting children and young people? Do you think you have what it takes to support and entertain our family of 4 boys who all love to game and range in age from 7 years old to 16 years old., The ideal candidate will be flexible, have a positive and caring nature with a cheerful personality and good communication skills. It's also important that we can all have 'banter' with our staff so be prepared! Experience in working with children and young people is desired, but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidates.

Salary: £11.44 per hour: Paid training. Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months' service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.

Hours: The shifts are of 4 hours duration, and days will be negotiated at interview.

Flexibility: Additional hours to cover holidays and sickness as required

Training: An excellent training package is available to ensure you are trained to the highest standards. In addition, we offer continuous professional development. Working as part of the Solo Support Services organisation will also mean that you are part of a supportive company who promote person centred practice.
