Part-Time Financial Controller

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Financial Controller / CFO. Working c. 8 hours per week, the business is flexible as to the working pattern of these hours. The Financial Controller will be responsible for

• Invoice and supplier management and transactions


• Payroll admin


• Cash Management


• Reporting (One Stream as well as preparing annual accounts)


• Budget tracking / establishment and forecasting


• Project Accounting


• Accounting Software Administration (Xero, or Sage or something else).


It is important, therefore, that the Accountant demonstrates the highest level of integrity and discretion. Flexibility is also important and a "roll your sleeves up" approach will be welcomed.

This is a senior level position with a mix of transactional and strategic work and would suit somebody who has previously operated at a Director level who wishes to work on a part-time basis.,
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation


• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines


• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills


• Experience with IFS would be advantageous


• Qualified in a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA


• Ability to obtain SC Clearance essential (5 years UK residency minimum)
