Full Job Description
- Scheduling, planning, and circulating communications to members across the UK using platforms such as Mailchimp and Essendex.
- Press Office - liaise on the development of any articles & press releases and issuing these to the database of press contacts. Monitor the shared inbox and deal with any enquires quickly and efficiently.
- Develop content for the British Wool Farm social media platforms, monitor and schedule content.
- Liaise with design agencies on artwork for marketing collateral.
- Liaise with suppliers on the production of show and marketing material.
- Be responsible for the storing any annual stocktake of show materials.
- Organise external visits and wool process tours at head office.
- Provide general administration support for the Member Engagement team for example correspondence, maintaining accurate records and project work such as member targeting to maximise wool intake.
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties that are commensurate to the role Skills & Abilities
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work with an enthusiastic approach. - Strong verbal, written skills and listening skills. Also able to take phone calls confidently and answer customer queries in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage own time and produce accurate work within set timescales.
- Work independently and be self-motivated is essential, but also work effectively as part of a team.
- Highly analytical and able to interpret large amounts of data (additional support and development will also be available).
- Demonstrate a good work ethic, be conscientious of quality of work output whilst performing to a high standard.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance., Experience working in a communications / marketing role - Desirable.
- Digital experience / knowledge desirable, however significant support and development will be available in this area.
- English & Maths GCSE - Grade 4 / C or above - Essential.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Essential.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Initially office based but with the potential for hybrid once established in the role. The organisation is closed over Christmas. - Salary £25,000 per annum
- Company Pension scheme is available to join, employer contribution 6%, minimum employee contribution 3%
- Holidays 23 days in the first year in addition to the 8 statutory holidays, after two years continuous service holiday entitlement will increase to 28 days per year.
