Full Job Description

Here at Chubb Fire and Security we have an opportunity for an experienced ERP finance consultant / functional lead to join our team as our JD Edwards finance lead on a permanent, full time basis.,

  • Coordinate with operational and process leaders to ensure that JDE functionality meets the business needs.

  • Work closely with the Finance compliance team to ensure finance processes and the JDE application meet our audit and SOX obligations (This includes user management and Segregation of duties)

  • Works alongside process SME's to define functional and data requirement specifications

  • Act as a 'gatekeeper' and work closely with the JDE technical teams to ensure projects and change requests are understood, prioritised and delivered.

  • Takes ownership of UAT ensuring testing cycles and deployments are completed in a timely manner.

  • Be an escalation point for any functional questions and look for opportunities to improve and enhance JDE and the supporting integrations and application ecosystem.

    What we would like you to bring to the role:

  • Extensive previous experience as an ERP finance consultant or ERP functional lead (ideally working with JDE)

  • Experience working in a complex, large organisation with heavily integrated application environments.

  • Detailed understanding and experience of audit and compliance requirements, including SOX

  • Ideally you would a fully or part qualified accountant

  • Knowledge of Service Billing, Contract Billing and Deferred Revenue would be a bonus

  • Experience of working with offshore 3rd party support providers

    SALARY: Base salary from £60,000 per annum
