Full Job Description

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), The role will involve covering classes from Reception to Year 6, on a regular and ad hoc basis - for example, regular teacher, subject leader or phase leader release time, or stepping in to cover or support at short notice when staff absence requires it.

  • Fixed Term Position (1 Year) September 2024 to August 2025 - Term Time Only (39 Working Weeks)

  • Pay Grade Dorset Grade 9, SCP 19-25 FTE (£29,777 to £33,945)
    Actual Pro Rata Pay (£21,728 to £24,769)
    This vacancy is a term time only position, working 31.25 Hrs Per Week (Monday - Friday 8:30am to 3:15pm including a half an hour lunch duty and staff Inset Days)

    An opportunity has arisen for someone to join our fantastic team at Radipole Primary School. Please note this is a one year fixed term position but consideration will be given to make this position permanent for the right candidate., Radipole Primary school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check in line with government safer recruitment guidelines.

    The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.

    The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.

    This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
