Full Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Front of House Assistant in our Cardiff office. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm with flexibility to work additional hours. The role requires an experienced professional with strong client focus who will be responsible for all client areas within the building as well as the total care of clients in person and on the telephone.

Typical Workload

  • Meeting and greeting clients


  • Providing refreshments (including ordering/laying-out of lunches)


  • Clearing rooms and conducting quality checks


  • Room set up changes


  • Reconciling invoices


  • Answering incoming calls


  • Scanning, binding and photocopying


  • Ensuring adequate stationery, printing stock and consumables are maintained


  • Administrative duties including opening and scanning morning post to Fee Earners, preparing post for collection by Royal Mail and DX.


  • Carrying out archiving tasks, closing files, deeds and Wills and preparing them for collection


  • Booking couriers and allocating on-site parking


  • Skills / Experience Required

    The successful candidate will be confident, smart and efficient, demonstrate an excellent telephone manner and be able to use their initiative as well as the ability to work within a team. Flexibility in the job and working hours will be expected. Applicants must be computer literate and have a basic knowledge of Outlook and Word.
