Daily duties:

The cleaning of all residents' bedrooms, and replenish toiletries.

Vacuuming, cleaning of washbasins and toilets, polishing all bedroom furniture and windowsills.

All corridors to be cleaned and communal toilet areas, also downstairs hallway and staff toilets, and entrance foyer.

Be aware of all safety issues at all times report to senior staff any items that are in need of repair or replacing.

During working hours, you will be required to perform the above duties and behave in a caring and professional manner at all times.

You will be answerable to the Manager, and senior care team, and will always respect the need for independence, privacy and confidentiality.

Although at times you will be expected to work individually you are employed as part of a caring team working together to provide our residents with a good quality of life in their mature years.

In addition to the above duties, you may be expected to perform other duties not listed. Consideration will be given to your skills and status when requesting you to perform these duties.

Always knock on the bedroom doors before entering to gain permission if a resident is in the room

Ask the residents if they want to help you clean their room

Engage with the residents all the time
