Full Job Description
SLP Print are currently recruiting a Die cutter and Guillotine Operator to join our creative and expanding team in Keighley West Yorkshire.
Our business specialises in the bespoke manufacture of branded swing tags, labels and packaging. Working for companies across the UK, we manufacture product for various sectors to include Retail, Drinks, Cosmetics, Confectionary and Gifting. Our diverse product and customer base allows us to produce and work for some of the best-known brands and retailers on the High Street.
The role is varied and will incorporate a number of duties and responsibilities within our production teams to include:
· Set up of Diecutting and Finishing machines, running Heidelberg Cylinders and Crosland platen
· Set up of Guillotines and Guillotining of Finished Product running Polar Guillotines
· Packing finished product into boxes
· Performing QC checks and recording of paperwork
· Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its optimal performance
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
· Keeping a clean and tidy work area
· Previous experience in Diecutting, Guillotine and Print Finishing role
· Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
· Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
· Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
· Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus
· Excellent communication Skills and must be competent and have previous experience and knowledge in Diecutting, Operating Guillotines and Print Finishing
· Ability to follow instruction and guidance from both external and internal sources
· Ability to work overtime when required
· Clean Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential
· Computer Literate

- Diecutting and Guillotining: 2 years (preferred)
