Full Job Description

We are looking to bring on board a fully qualified, experienced construction project manager to work as part of our existing team. The responsibilities of this role will be managing general building works on new builds, property extensions, refurbishments, developments and planned maintenance works.

The candidate must be experienced in all aspects of domestic construction from ground works through to practical completion and handover, It is important that the candidate is able to read and fully understand construction drawings and engineers calculations in order to quantify and order materials, and book relevant contractors in the correct orders.

Finalfix are very customer care orientated and the candidate must be able to communicate well with customers and liaise closely with Architects, Contractors, Sub Contractors, Admin, Build control the public in order to deliver our projects in good order on time and on budget.

This position will have a salary and vehicle allowance paid monthly with a profit related bonus scheme in place to supplement and incentivise which will be paid quarterly.

The roll will require but not limited to the following.

  • Working hours 8-4.30 Mon-Fri

  • Full driving license

  • Own transport

  • Work part in office and part on site

  • Have good communication skills

  • Have good experience of all aspects of domestic construction

  • Have a good understanding of Health and Safety, create RAMS

  • Be competent with Windows and Excel

  • Be able to create and manage build programmes and reports

  • Manage materials and costs on site and create reports

  • Liaise with clients and FF office to collect payments on time

  • Recruit and manage contractors and subcontractors where necessary

  • Liaise with building control, customers and suppliers throughout a build

  • Motivate a team to reach deadlines and budgets

  • Create and manage snag lists

  • Manage customer care

  • Oversee final hand over to client
