Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. is looking to recruit to the Operations department a Business Systems Manager to contribute to delivering company growth goals. This is a global role reporting to the Head of Supply Chain.,

  • What will you be doing?

    As a member of the Operations team, you will play a crucial role in optimising Crowcon's global business systems infrastructure to help achieve our goal of being a digitally centric business.

    You will:
  • Project manage and lead the change management process for system changes, enhancements and upgrades, including testing, data validation and user communication regarding downtime.

  • Own the roadmap for business systems, to include enhancement projects, resolving system issues and implementing upgrades/updates.

  • Analyse current operational needs to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, as well as ensure we are utilising all system functionality.

  • Explore options for automation, process streamlining, enhanced reporting, improved accuracy, and reduced task completion times.

  • Work closely with our offices around the world to ensure standardisation and streamlining of processes. As well as supporting with local business system requirements for their region.

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the organisations business systems, such as NAV, Dynamics CRM and Q-Pulse.

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across Operational, Finance, Sales and Development teams.

  • Ensure the accuracy and data integrity of our business systems while managing system controls/permissions and governance.

  • Be the first port of call for user issues. Develop a system for managing this and reporting agreed SLA's.

  • Monitoring system performance and work closely with our IT Team to identify performance bottlenecks and ensuring that the system has enough capacity to meet the needs of the business at all times.

  • Manage and collaborate with Support Partners for system issues and development work, ensuring they meet contractual requirements.

  • Maintain documentation and obtain approvals for permissions and new user setup.

  • Collaborate with departments to develop user guides and training tailored to departmental roles and responsibilities.

  • Keeping up with the latest ERP and other business systems trends and technologies including staying informed of new features and functionality.

    A proven track record with a minimum 3 years of BC or NAV experience within a simpler role.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or relevant education desirable but not essential.

  • Microsoft accredited ERP Certification desirable but not essential.

  • Experience in managing and executing business system/ERP related projects, enhancements and updates.

  • Worked within a manufacturing organisation preferable., You are a collaborative team player
