Full Job Description

As a front of house staff member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring smooth operations at Wylam Brewery. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, interacting with a diverse range of customers and fellow team members. Your main responsibilities will include:

· Greeting and serving customers, providing them with a warm and friendly experience.

· Taking orders and serving food and beverages with attention to detail and efficiency.

· Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar, dining areas, and outdoor spaces.

· Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service., We are also seeking experienced individuals to join our team as potential supervisors. In this role, you will assist the management team in running shifts, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth operations. Your main duties will include:

· Assisting the manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

· Collaborating with the team to ensure proper preparation for events and maintaining high standards during events.

· Assisting in opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

· Managing Sunday lunch bookings, including responding to email inquiries, confirming reservations, and providing excellent customer service.

· Supporting and guiding staff members to maintain a positive work environment and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

· Resolving any customer issues or complaints professionally and promptly.

· Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the venue, including bar, dining areas, and outdoor spaces.

· Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock management as needed.

· Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

· Positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances., · Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team.

· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

· Knowledge of craft beer and brewing processes is an advantage.
