Full Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Communications Officer to join our dedicated, enthusiastic and support team which strives to make a difference every day.
Working as part of our External and Operational Communications sub-team with a particular focus on our website and intranet content management systems, the role supports the delivery of high-quality, effective, and accessible information for our service users, carers, families, staff and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong brand awareness and creative characteristics, supporting the team to manage our many channels of communications.
While a key element of this role is supporting with the updating, management and development of the Trust's website and intranet, you will also have responsibility for the production and regular review of patient information (working with teams across our Trust to ensure information remains safe and accurate) and producing and publishing digital and social media content.
This is a permanent, full-time position which is predominantly home-based (with some office working).

Main duties of the job
+ Updating, managing and developing our website and intranet content management systems
+ Copywriting, editing and understanding complex information
+ Development of patient information (e.g. posters and leaflets) for a variety of audiences
+ Managing review processes to ensure patient information is up to date and accurate
+ Social media management and digital content creation
+ Supporting the day-to-day running of the team, including finance and administration support, Applications will be transferred to the TRAC system, by completing an application you are giving authorisation for the transfer of your data. In submitting an application form, you authorise us to confirm any previous NHS service details via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) process. Including factual reference, occupational health clearance and statutory and mandatory training records
