Full Job Description

The Assistant Commercial Analyst is critical in providing business insights through quality reporting that supports the Commercial & Finance teams in decision making.
What you'll do:

  • Develop and produce regular reporting to Commercial & Finance team, including but not limited to customer profitability, performance reports (volume, price & mix analysis), and monthly overhead management reports.

  • Analyse and interpret performance and trends, including but limited to volumes, price, mix, segment, customer, region, etc.

  • Identify areas of opportunity based on reporting and analysis and present findings to the Commercial Finance Business Partner.

  • Support in the preparation of cost centre budgets, rolling forecast, and the posting of monthly accruals and prepayments.

    A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Experience working within a Commercial Analyst, Business Analyst, or Business Partner role or demonstrable experience working with large datasets, reporting, and analysis.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Proactive and independent with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • CIMA, AAT, ACCA or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not required.
