Assembly Operative

· Assemble and build large, engineered products for a range of valued contracts

· Work from engineering drawings, customer specifications and associated design data

· Work with hand tools and manual measuring equipment

· Assembly of painted parts and touch up as required

· Assembly / disassembly of piece part assemblies

· Complete quality sign off documents

· Previous experience assembling heavy engineered fabricated products

· Physically fit to carry out the required range of lifting and handling activities

· Experience of using hand tools and measuring equipment

· Experience of working on finished painted equipment

· A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

· Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas

We have great opportunities for Assembly Operatives to join our Fabrication team on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal role working with high profile projects. You will ensure the work is produced to the highest quality and maximum productivity is produced.
