Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Account Manager to join our client facing team based in Cardiff. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with the client providing solutions tailored to their needs, whilst delivering regular updates to our factory based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an Account Managing role, preferably in the print industry or similar. Must have extensive client and customer service experience with strong communication and interpretation skills, as the role is crucial in understanding the clients needs. The main responsibilities of the role

· Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and their marketing team.

· Act as the contact between the client and our factory

· Understanding the client's needs and challenges

· Provide recommendations and tailored solutions to ensure client satisfaction.

· Provide regular updates to the client and factory on project progress and status.

· Address and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.

· Daily use of our internal systems

· Maintain systems and keeping client's information up to date.

· Work closely with the client and our production team planning projects, campaigns and adhoc work

· Provide quotes and lead times to the client and acquiring purchase orders.

· Check all purchase orders are correct and working with our accounts team, keeping invoicing up to date.

· Provide reports such as delivery, store ordering, SLA and costing reports.

· Plan new store openings with the client's project director and retail director

· Plan installations and outwork with external suppliers

· Explore and create new ideas and opportunities with the client to help their business grow.

· Work with the client services manager, keeping them up to date on your current and future work.

· Manage store orders to ensure they are despatched, delivered on time and to the agreed SLA.

· Addressing queries from stores and regional managers

· Manage and prioritise your workload, keeping all relevant persons up to date on the status of your projects.

· Work with the despatch team around all types of deliveries, from individual store orders to large campaigns

· Work direct with the design team and collaborate on projects.

· Build and maintain business and client process maps.

· Provide general support to the Senior Account Manager

· Experience in an account managing role, ideally within the print industry, sign production or similar.

· Strong organisational and communication skills

· Microsoft Office skills is essential.

· Project management and planning skills, being able to deliver quotes, lead times and projects on time and within the client's budget.

· Focused and proactive

· Have excellent attention to detail.

· Be able to work under pressure and to a deadline.

· Able to follow and understand company and clients process maps.,

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred), Account management: 1 year (preferred)
