Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Pharmaceutical Production Operative to work 37.5 hours at our Hub branch located within our Head Office at Lynstock House, Lynstock Way, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4SA.

The proposed shift pattern would be as follows:

Monday to Friday

14:00 to 22:00 (30 minute lunch break)

This vacancy is on a permanent basis, however is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period.

Cohens Hub Dispensing is a structured, production based pharmacy environment to help support the network of branches by assembling Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) and Original Pack Dispensing (OPD) by utilising brand new, cutting edge technology.

As a Pharmaceutical Production Operator you will be given all the skills and training to work safely and effectively in a pharmacy production environment. In house training and the most appropriate training course(s) will be provided based on your role within the operation.

You will be responsible for protecting the safety of our customers through the strict adherence of written policies and compliance with good manufacturing practices. You will maintain and appreciate the high levels of quality which are essential assisting the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our network of branches.

Attention to detail is essential as you will be responsible for processing, labelling and assembly of medicines, ensuring self-checking and ensuring errors, malpractice or incidents are reported appropriately.

Skills in planning, time management, and attention to detail, working to targets and working under pressure are all required. You should possess Mathematics and English qualifications equivalent to GCSE and be competent in IT.

The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role. You will work as part of a well-established team and ensure effective communication with colleagues and promote interdepartmental relations.
