Full Job Description

As a Warehouse Operative, you will cover all aspects of warehouse operations at the site. You will deliver pallets required for production/ dispatch via a specific item list, check and scan pallets accurately into the site's ERP system, as well as loading lorries within finished goods and unloading incoming materials.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards of the Warehouse & Fork Trucks at all times and will be required to support other areas of the operation as and when necessary.

  • Picking pallets from the racking with reach truck and taking to the relevant production area, using a handheld scanner to record the movements.

  • Putting pallets away into the racking and scanning all pallets that have been moved to the correct location.

  • Operating a clean as you go policy to ensure the warehouse and truck remain clean at all times.

  • All other reasonable duties as may be requested by the management from time to time.

    We are hiring for a experience Warehouse Operative with a valid Reach Truck Licence., A good understanding of Stock Management

  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory requirements, housekeeping and health and safety.

  • Must be open to working shifts

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Good written and communications skills.

  • Previous experience in Warehouse & Food Manufacturing would be essential.

  • Administration and clerical skills and PC literate including being able to work computer system to produce pick lists (training will be given).

  • Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures.

  • Reach truck license essential

  • Ideally have experience of using PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) (training may be given).

  • A good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
