JOB MISSION:

Due to internal progression, we are now recruiting for a Treasury Accountant Analyst to play an important role in helping the Treasury Manager to evolve existing processes to embrace best-practice to drive efficiencies throughout the department. Areas of focus will include updating actual bank position tracking documents and evolving the rolling forecast process.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Downloading multi-currency bank statement information for different teams within the Finance department, understanding these transactions and being the go-to person in the department for any payment queries.

  • To understand and subsequently post transactions into the accounting system.

  • Produce complex multicurrency bank reconciliations for all entities within EMEA on a weekly basis - 25 accounts.

  • Update short term cashflow with actuals daily for an accurate UK liquidity position.

  • Raise payments on HSBC Net, ACH, SEPA, priority and Internal Transfers for a multitude of different payments requirements - including payroll and hedge deals / FX Deals for the rest of the year. Including creating templates for new suppliers, maintaining bank mandates, and obtaining payment proof where required.

  • Interim ownership of reconciling retail sales to banking for all stores across EMEA, 42 stores.

  • Month end Treasury closing tasks, ensuring all transactions are posted within the period and all accounts are reconciled, revalued, and closed within a timely manner and journals posted relating to monthly loan schedule (CIL) and COGS.

  • Complete multiple banking balance sheet recs for each account across EMEA.

  • Download Month End exchange rates ensuring formulae are correct and then entering all exchange rates for all EMEA into the accounting system.

  • Liaise with expansion team and HSBC to agree legal Bank Guarantee's and input these into HSBC UK and US platforms.

  • Company credit card and travel card administration with queries from colleagues across EMEA entities.

  • Input of actuals and forecasting for retail entities and UK within BPC accounting system.

  • Provide ad hoc support to Treasury Manager and finance team to ensure smooth running of day-to-day activities.

  • Filing banking documentation into correct entities and currencies for audit purpose and support any audit queries that may arise.


  • REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
  • AAT qualified or equivalent and looking to continue development.

  • Experience working within a Finance role is essential.

  • Have a good knowledge of Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures and geographies.

  • Be self-motivated and able to plan and prioritise tasks accordingly.

  • Have a review and improve attitude.
