Transport Planner

We are seeking a detail-orientated Planner to join our Transport team. As a planner you will be responsible for producing accurate route planning ensuring optimum utilisation of all fleet vehicles.,

• Strategically plan efficient delivery routes to maximise cost savings and improve customer satisfaction.


• Maintain positive relationships with customers and address any challenges or potential solutions.


• Ensure legal compliance with legislation and company policies.


• Collaborate with Planning Manager, Senior Planner and Shift Managers to manage rota, absence, holidays and driver communication.


• Evaluate routes for profitability, maintain company standards, and promote a positive health and safety culture.
  
  Effective Communication: Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and various teams. Fluency in English is required.


• Organisational Skills: Strong prioritisation and attention to detail when managing various tasks and responsibilities.


• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel and comfortable using multiple IT systems.


Desirable

• National CPC Holder.


• Previous experience working within a similar role, business and / or industry.
