Are you a qualified tax professional seeking a position that solely focuses on exciting advisory projects in a fast-growing and innovative accountancy firm?

As we continue to scale our transactions tax business across both the East and West Midlands markets, we are looking to recruit an experienced senior manager to work alongside our tax partner.

We expect this role to provide significant development opportunities for the right candidate, with an excellent mix of client-facing and technical tax exposure. Our position within the PKF Global network leaves us well-placed to service clients from around the world, working with our international colleagues to deliver the highest quality cross-border advice.

The important work you will be doing:

  • Acting as a key point of contact within the firm, you will work with our clients to deliver high-quality advisory projects, often leading the process from the initial client meeting to the date of completion

  • You will work closely with our tax partner to develop strong lasting relationships with our clients and intermediary contacts, often becoming a trusted adviser for all things tax

  • You must be comfortable managing (and training) junior team members, whilst ensuring that client work is delivered to a high standard, and in accordance with pre-agreed commercial deadlines

  • As a lot of what we do on the sell side will be one-off work, there will be a strong focus on business development, and you will be expected to support the tax partner in attending events and fostering new relationships

  • As is often the case within tax, a significant amount of opportunities are generated through other service lines i.e. audit and corporate finance.     We are looking for talented advisers with a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience (ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification)

  • Due to the technical nature of the work undertaken by the team, the role will only be suitable for tax advisers with a proven track record of delivering specialist tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses and mid-sized corporate clients
