Temporary Finance Assistant

Accounts Receivable:

· To raise proforma invoices.

· To issue sales invoices/credit notes and distribute to clients.

· To assess and credit check new and existing customers.

· To input cash receipts received.

· To upload sales revenue balances to IF bank.

· To send out customer statements.

· To upload invoices on customer portals.

· To maintain tight credit control with debtor chasing.

Accounts Payable:

· To process supplier invoices.

· To process credit card receipts.

· To setup new suppliers and complete credit application forms.

· To send out supplier remittances.

· To enter bank payments on finance systems.

Adhoc:

· Batch updating of finance systems

· Scanning, filing and logging account documents

· Dealing with all AP & AR queries

· Processing staff expenses

· Setting up new expense users

· Daily bank reconciliations

· Minimum 2 year's experience working in a similar role.

· Qualified/ part qualified AAT or similar desirable but not essential.

· Ability to work as part of a team and take ownership of own workload.

· Analytical thinker and problem solver.

· Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

· High level of accuracy.

· Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.

· Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
