Swyddog Cymorth Project / Project Support Officer

Dyma gyfle cyffrous i chwarae rhan wrth drawsnewid un o amgueddfeydd mwyaf poblogaidd Amgueddfa Cymru. Bydd Project Ailddatblygu Amgueddfa Lechi Cymru yn cadw, gwella a dehongli safle eithriadol yr Amgueddfa Lechi, ac yn creu canolfan Treftadaeth Byd UNESCO yn cefnogi sgiliau traddodiadol, addysg a lles.

Bydd y Project yn ysbrydoli ac yn ymgysylltu â chymunedau ac ymwelwyr, gan gysylltu pobl â stori ryfeddol y diwydiant llechi a'r dirwedd fyd-eang arwyddocaol y mae wedi'i siapio.

Bydd y Project hwn yn gweithio'n agos gyda phartneriaid, gan gynnwys Cyngor Gwynedd, wrth gyflawni cynlluniau uchelgeisiol i ailddatblygu parc gwledig Parc Padarn o amgylch yr Amgueddfa. Bydd y Project ailddatblygu'n cael ei integreiddio â datblygiadau ehangach fel rhan o weledigaeth ar gyfer twristiaeth gynaliadwy sy'n sensitif ac yn ymatebol i'r cymunedau lleol.

Mae Amgueddfa Cymru wedi ymrwymo i greu mannau newydd a gwahanol lle mae pobl yn eu gweld nhw eu hunain ac yn teimlo eu bod yn perthyn. Bydd y Project yn gweithio gyda chymunedau a lleisiau lleol i greu mannau a phrofiadau ysbrydoledig gan gynnig persbectif unigryw ar hanes cymunedau'r chwareli llechi a luniodd y rhan yma o Gymru.

Mae'r gallu i gyfathrebu drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg, neu awydd i ddysgu Cymraeg yn hanfodol.

This is an exciting opportunity to play your part in the transformation of one of Amgueddfa Cymru's best-loved museums. The National Slate Museum Redevelopment Project will conserve, improve and interpret the exceptional Amgueddfa Llechi site and create a UNESCO World Heritage hub supporting traditional skills, learning and wellbeing.

The project will engage and inspire both communities and visitors, connecting people to the remarkable story of the slate industry and the globally significant landscape it has shaped.

This project will work closely with partners including Cyngor Gwynedd as they deliver on ambitious plans to redevelop Parc Padarn country park surrounding the museum. The redevelopment project will integrate with wider developments as part of a vision for sustainable tourism that is sensitive and responsive to local communities.

Amgueddfa Cymru is committed to creating new and different spaces where people see themselves and feel that they belong. The Project will work with local communities and voices to create inspirational spaces and experiences offering a unique perspective on the history of the slate quarrying communities that shaped this area of Wales.

Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh or a desire to learn Welsh is essential.
