Full Job Description

You will act as the 'Engine Room' for the business through Item & Supplier Setup, supporting and tracking costs in conjunction with the Sourcing Managers, Buyers and Analysts and owning the Master Price List inputs and reviews, blanket purchase orders and owning Ethical Sourcing intake on behalf of the business and suppliers.

  • Develop new ways to gather and analyse sources which provide commercial insights and contribute to data led sourcing decisions

  • Conduct sourcing opportunity assessments, supplier / industry benchmarking, cost modelling and root cause analysis to develop sourcing recommendations

  • Creating and maintaining purchase agreements

  • Setting up new suppliers in Starbucks' systems

  • Collaborating effectively with suppliers and potential suppliers to gather data


  • This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days being based at Starbucks in Chiswick (W4), alongside travel to Bradgate Bakery (LE4) and working from home.

  • Ability to apply knowledge of business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

  • Aptitude for analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of market analysis, spend analysis, sourcing category strategy, supplier relationship management 'should-cost' models, and negotiations;

  • Systems: Knowledge of Excel, Oracle, BI Apps, PowerPoint, and others.

  • Exceptional communication both written and oral, present complex data clearly to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to travel
