Joining our newly-formed central services, we are recruiting thrilled to be seeking a brand new Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our of our dedicated 'squads' in our award-winning Technology team, working across The Forge Holiday Group.We are for our award-winning Technology Department!, As our newest Senior Cyber Security Analyst you will be reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, offering a broad scope for defining the tools and services being deployed as well as the development of your own personal skills.

Joining a collaborative Technology Department, this is the ideal opportunity for an individual with a true passion for the Cyber Security industry to play a crucial role in providing security support and guidance across varied technical projects and for day-to-day operational security compliance and planning., We pride ourselves on our ethos of innovation which we drive into our award-winning, transformative projects across our Technology team.....

Working with the Head of Cyber Security as well as the rest of our passionate Tech Team, you will be a key player within our Cyber team which will see you:

  • Take ownership of monitoring, maintaining and automating the security stack

  • Provide a point of escalation for alerting and incident response as well as engaging directly with the triage process

  • Continually upskill and lead by example with learning objectives

  • Identify suitable technologies to address the security policies and standards

  • Review and monitor security hygiene across all systems and support implementation of uniform security principles

  • Ensure reporting integrity of established security workflows and metrics

  • Enforce security standards and procedures and ensure that a secure by design culture is maintained

  • Assisting in the development and monitoring of alert systems

  • Introduce new and emerging security technology as appropriate and by requirement

  • Form a key member of the security incident response team and run/participate in regular purple teaming/table top exercises

  • Regularly review security policies and processes and implement efficiencies - across detection and response, incident playbooks, vulnerability management and risk management

  • Enforce data breach policy and help department managers with data identification, remediation or deletion

  • Provide cyber security advice and direction to projects and business initiatives as required

  • Ensure change initiatives incorporate information security requirements

    First and foremost we are interested in those who have the potential to hold these values, as for this position, we ask you to have the following key skills:
  • 3+ Years experience working in a previous security analyst role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast paced environment

  • Confidence to communicate with all levels of stakeholders

  • Demonstrable working knowledge of security operations

  • Experience working with multiple security technologies including, EDR, NDR, IAM, DLP, SIEM, Email Gateways, NGFW, WAF.

  • Understanding of zero trust principles across hosted, virtual and cloud environments

  • Working knowledge of network structure & devices (switches, routers, proxies, access points, etc.)

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Data analytics skills and experience

  • Demonstrate high standards of integrity


  • Although standouts will also have:
  • Experience of implementing access control

  • Experience working in a cloud-based (AWS) environment

  • Experience of security framework and standards implementation (NiST, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, etc.)

  • Preferably holds professional security certification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISMP, CISSP)

  • Incident Recovery and/or Business continuity process knowledge

  • Supplier relationship management experience

  • Multiple Platform Administration (Windows, Linux, Android & IOS)

  • Data loss prevention tool experience

  • Project management experience

    Paying a salary circa £52,000 per annum working Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
