Full Job Description

  • Operate the self-erecting crane to safely lift, move, and position loads as per project requirements.

  • Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance to ensure the crane is in optimal working condition.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to guarantee safe lifting operations.

  • Collaborate with the Site Management team and other team members to facilitate a smooth workflow and efficient project delivery.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records of crane operations and maintenance activities.

  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, reporting any safety concerns promptly.

  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

  • This role is on a self-employed basis, providing flexibility and independence in your work schedule.

    We at SWG Group are looking for a skilled self-employed Crane Operator to join our expanding team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will operate a Potain Igo 32 self-erecting crane or similar on a construction site in Wrexham City Centre. While certification is not essential as training will be provided, previous experience with self-erecting cranes is required., Proven experience operating a self-erecting crane.
