Operate the self-erecting crane to safely lift, move, and position loads as per project requirements.

Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance to ensure the crane is in optimal working condition.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to guarantee safe lifting operations.

Collaborate with the Site Management team and other team members to facilitate a smooth workflow and efficient project delivery.

Maintain accurate logs and records of crane operations and maintenance activities.

Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, reporting any safety concerns promptly.

This role is on a self-employed basis, providing flexibility and independence in your work schedule.

We at SWG Group are looking for a skilled self-employed Crane Operator to join our expanding team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will operate a Potain Igo 32 self-erecting crane or similar on a construction site in Wrexham City Centre. While certification is not essential as training will be provided, previous experience with self-erecting cranes is required., Proven experience operating a self-erecting crane.

A solid understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to ensure effective coordination on-site.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to different site environments.
