Full Job Description
Burghley Park Golf Club has a vacancy for a Seasonal Greenkeeper to assist the Greens team over the summer months.
Duties include: -
- Strimming
- Raking bunkers
- Repairing divots
- Picking up litter
- Collecting golf balls off the range
- Fairway mowing
- All maintenance and landscaping work to enhance the facilities
Previous traditional greenkeeping experience, including experience working with fine grasses and experience of golf course renovation/development, including bunkers, drainage and irrigation - PA 1, 2 and 6 certificates
- CS certificates preferred but not essential
- IT skills
- Enjoy working outside in all weathers
- Be motivated and hard working
- Experience of working with the public
- Driving licence
- High standards of course quality and presentation with an eye for detail. High professional and personal standards.
- Some knowledge of Health & Safety working practices
The fixed term contract will run from May-September. 40 hours per week on 5 days out of 7 rota (this will include some weekends).
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
