Product Manager (Lending Marketplace)

As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in supporting millions of UK customers by ensuring they have access to fair and transparent loan options., LoanTube is currently seeking a Product Manager to play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of LoanTube's personal loans marketplace. This individual will collaborate closely with LoanTube's founder to meticulously plan and execute the integration of new features - transitioning the business from a purely transactional model to a relational one.

Ultimately, you will become the go to person for all aspects pertaining to the development of LoanTube's B2C platform - presenting a unique career advancement opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced and industry-disruptive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning

• Liaising with LoanTube's founder to understand and note key project requirements.


• Turning big ideas into detailed product specifications and development guidelines.


• Handling communication and requirements with external partners, like lenders and Open Banking facilitators, during tech integrations.


Preparation

• Creating comprehensive documentation, ranging from mock-ups to product requirement documents, to provide a clear plan for execution.


• Preparing detailed and realistic timelines in collaboration with all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding expectations and deadlines.


Execution

• Supervising and working closely with the tech team, communicating regularly to keep development on track and meet deadlines.


• Monitoring the tech team's progress, offering guidance and resolving any issues that arise.


• Managing integration processes with partners and external service providers, to ensure seamless connections via APIs or other methods.


• Providing regular updates and reports on progress, challenges, and milestones, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.


Delivery

• Ensuring robust quality assurance and testing measures are in place for optimal product functionality and user experience.


• Post-launch, actively monitoring performance, executing regular system check-ups, and promptly implementing bug fixes to maintain peak product functionality.


• Actively gathering and monitoring customer feedback to optimise satisfaction and the value provided by the LoanTube platform, with 'customer centricity' as a central tenet.
  
  At least 2 years' experience in a similar role and fast-paced environment, preferably within the fintech and lending sectors.


• Understanding of APIs, credit assessment, Open Banking, digital customer journeys (including via mobile app) and lead acquisition methods is highly advantageous.


• Proficient in modern software development methodologies & tools, ensuring efficiency and the highest quality in project management.


• An individual who thrives independently yet excels in communication and teamwork.


• An insatiable passion for growth and delivering outcomes (over outputs), characterised by an unwavering drive, a hunger for 'making things happen', and a readiness to dive into challenges head-on.


• Daily on-site attendance at our central office in Hammersmith will be vital due to the depth of engagement with company operations and need for regular interactions with the company's founder., Prior FinTech experience
