Premises and Facilities Officer

Humankind are looking for a Premises and Facilities officer to join us working across our sites in the Leeds area. The purpose of the role is to assist the Premises & Facilities Manager on the smooth running of our office premises ensuring they remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose and are fully compliant with relevant legislation, Health, Safety & Statutory Regulations.

The role will be based out of our Kirkgate offices however the role will cover our sites across Yorkshire, including Bradford, Sheffield and Leeds and other regions when required. Due to the nature of the position this is a Hybrid role allowing flexible home and office working arrangements maintaining a good work-life balance.

Duties include, but not limited too:
Attend meetings as required in relation to Premises & Facilities within the organisation including Regional Meetings, Mobilisation and Demobilisation Meetings
Liaise with landlords (where appropriate) to ensure they undertake works for which they are responsible and/or to notify them of works we wish to oversee
Where appropriate liaise with Contractor and Building Control to ensure efficient and safe refurbishment and maintenance of premises and that all risk assessments are carried out and in place before work starts.
Oversee the completion of required works, remodelling or refurbishments against works schedules and plans and report any areas of concerns to Manager
Maintain records of work completed and schedules of work required, maintaining records for regular servicing and testing of equipment as required using our MIS.
