Part-Time Supervisor / Shop & Café Assistant

We are looking for a confident and experienced person to join our friendly team at Fox & West as a Part-Time Supervisor / Shop & Café Assistant.

This would suit someone who has been in a hospitality role and is looking to progress. This role will include supervisor shifts and non supervisor/front of house shifts.

Start Date : End of May / Beginning of June

Supervisor Shifts

• Key holder with supervisor training given.


• Managing the team and staffing on the shift.


• Delegating tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the store.


• Dealing with any issues that might arise with customers, suppliers, orders.


• Taking delivery of orders, pricing and inputting stock into our computer system.


• Cashing up and closing the store.


• Working with the store manager to complete tasks and work towards targets and deadlines.


• Ordering our fresh items, this may include fruit and veg, milk, local cheeses and deli items.


• Processing customer orders and responding to emails.


FOH/Barista Shifts

• Serving customers on the till and our coffee station.


• Preparing drinks and food.


• Restocking the store and carrying out daily cleaning tasks.


• Giving amazing customer service!


Part time hours available but open to discussion on how many for the right candidate. Please note, this role will include the majority of Saturday's.

· Have experience preparing coffees and some food preparation.

· Be confident on using a computer - spreadsheets would be a happy bonus!

· Happy to work early mornings - some shifts will start at 630am so please consider how you would get to work at that time and be ready to work.

· Please note, this role does include heavy lifting, so you will need to be physically capable enough to lift and carry our veg display and furniture in and out on a daily basis.,
• Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)


• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
  
  · Working hours are between 0630-1900 Monday to Saturday and rotas given in advance. Exact shifts depend on the candidates availability.

Pay: £8.60-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
