Full Job Description

A key part of our OE Sales team, the OE Operations Co-ordinator will play a pivotal role in helping to ensure that key commercial indicators are met. These include stock availability, accurate forecasting, customer satisfaction and management plan volume targets.

Role Responsibilities

Typical duties will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting and managing month end reporting, reconciliation and aged debt

Assisting the OE Operations Controller with Raw Material Movements and trend analysis as well as ad hoc duties

Verifying correct implementation of pricing policy

Supervision of OE Financial Business Assistant

Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices

Assisting with monthly forecasting process

Analysis of volume requirements in order to ensure tyre production meets customer needs.

Supporting OE Operations Controller with review of commercial performance

Building relationships with external customers and liaising directly with them to resolve issues swiftly and effectively

Reviewing customer portals to ensure all information requests are managed in a timely manner

Maintaining strong relationships between UK and Head Office functions, ensuring coordination

and implementation of group strategy

Working with the planners to assist, where necessary, facilitatation of deliveries ensuring customer scheduled demand is met

Good level of general education
Part or fully qualified in a formal recognised accounting/finance qualification (AAT / ACCA / CIMA)

Experience

Experience of working within a Finance department

Experience in a credit environment is advantageous

Experience of working within a commercial environment

Supervisory experience

Commercial awareness

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Strong IT skills which must include a high proficiency in Excel is essential.

Experience with SAP is desirable, although full training will be given

Confident with using IT systems and customer portals

Flexible approach and able to prioritise

Adaptable and able to work under pressure

Able to develop and maintain relationships

Able to work effectively as part of a team

Excellent analytical skills

Ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail

Reporting to the OE Operations Controller, we are looking for an experienced Finance professional, either fully or part qualified, who is proactive, engaging with a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial / commercial analysis, reporting and operational support. Experience of working within a commercial environment is essential. Experience within credit is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although flexibility is required to work beyond these hours as and when required.

Salary for this role will be £37k - £45k FTE per annum, depending upon qualification, skills, background and experience.

We do have a Smart working policy (hybrid working) in place which is 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. For any new starters to the business, there will be an initial requirement to be in the office on a full-time basis.
