Nursery Practitioner

Working Hours :- We are looking some-one to work up to 42.5 hours per week - flexible shifts between 7.30am - 6pm, depending on weekly staffing requirements. primarily at our Coulby Newham Nursery. Monday - Friday.

We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to work within our busy nursery primarily care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

This role includes the ability to care for and meet the individual needs of all children, including all aspects of feeding, personal care and educational development following the Early Years Foundation Stage. The candidate would be expected to be involved in supporting staff with planning and developmental records to ensure they are kept updated in line with our policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will:

Have a warm smiley face, love to laugh, and distribute hugs unreservedly

Have a good Imagination & Creative Skills, be able to build with cardboard and junk model

Sing in your best singing voice, love Disney songs and nursery rhymes and dish out some moves

Be a pirate one minute then a princess the next, release your inner child and love role play

Can kick a football, and do laps of an assault course and be an outgoing individual

Not be afraid of spiders and create the best bug hotel

We are looking for a fully qualified minimum Level 3 Nursery Nurse who is hard working, friendly, enthusiastic, flexible and willing to work well as part of a team and as an individual. Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, must hold a Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, Safeguarding certificate, Previous experience preferable
