Full Job Description

  • Develop and implement long-term business strategies, to achieve sales and profit targets.

  • Broaden the business opportunities by investigating and developing, as appropriate, all options for route to market within designated Channels.

  • Manage business partnerships both current and new to seek out opportunities.

  • Work with brand experts to develop focused business strategies by account and channel.

  • Work closely with Senior Sales Management and Finance to make sure all Customer stock and financial issues are under constant review and problems are resolved.

    Previous experience in a National Account Manager role within the Nursery and Toy environment is essential.

  • Strong working knowledge of working with Argos, Boots, John Lewis, Mamas & Papas.

  • Able to demonstrate good attention to detail and level's of accuracy.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent numeracy and analytical skills.

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the business and our customer base.

  • Excellent PC skills with good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.

  • Proven team working skills.

  • Results-focused attitude.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to exceed sales and profitability targets.

  • Able to demonstrate ability to work in a fast-working environment.

  • Full UK Driving Licence required.

  • Home-based - Stoke on Trent minimum 1 to 2 day a week., Account management: 3 years (preferred)

  • B2B sales: 5 years (preferred)

    RKW is now hiring for a National Account Manager to join the Sales Team, focusing on a developing Product Category in the Baby / Nursery sector.


  • In this role you will to work along side the Nursery Category Director in creating and implementing strategies and plans in order to grow our range of Premium Branded Nursery products and meet agreed sales and margin targets.

    You will develop new and existing relationships within the Major National Retail chains, focusing on Strategic Key accounts. The role will be based remotely; however, you will be required to travel to our Stoke on Trent HQ on a weekly basis. In return, and on top of a comprehensive salary and benefits package including a bonus a long side a company car or car allowance.

    We are looking to speak with people working with a significant background within the Baby / Nursery industry, who have a previous track record of driving sales with the likes of Argos, John Lewis, Mamas & Papas etc.
