Full Job Description
- Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for various age groups and skill levels and provide instruction on proper techniques and form for gymnastics skills
- Create a safe and supportive environment for gymnasts to learn and grow
- Develop lesson plans that are engaging and age-appropriate
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of gymnasts, providing feedback and guidance for improvement
- Collaborate with other coaches to coordinate team practices and competitions
- Ensure the gymnasium and equipment are clean, organized, and in good working condition (Responsible for ensuring gymnastics equipment is safe and maintained)
- Lead and manage a team of coaches, creating an environment where all coaches enjoy themselves whilst at work and make a real contribution to the success of the club
- Have a hands on coaching commitment within women's artistic for a minimum of 15 hours per week plus additional time for management and administration duties
- identify training needs and initiate development activities of coaches
- Making links with local schools and organising / providing gymnastic opportunities within the community
- Responsible for ensuring that all relevant policies written in the Employee Handbook are adhered to by yourself and your team
- Deal with prospective parents and gymnasts in a professional manner
- Deal with any necessary administration and member issues, which includes, but is not limited to, taking phone calls, returning messages, communicating with parents, report submission and responding to relevant e-mails
- Assist with holding regular staff meetings and serve as a coach mentor
- To undertake any other reasonable duties/ projects / meetings, which may be required from time to time, including birthday parties, fundraising events and workshops
We are looking for a self-motivated, confident, professional individual who is committed and passionate about gymnastics!, Good communication skills, oral and written - Work well in a team and have good interpersonal skills
- Level 3 coaching qualification
- Able to demonstrate ability to motivate others
- A flexible attitude towards working hours is required
- Committed to own personal development being prepared to undertake BG and other training courses
- Sports coaching: 3 years (required)

Crewe and Nantwich Gymnastics Club are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and committed coach to work within our WA team.
At Crewe and Nantwich Gymnastics Club, we have been proudly promoting the love of the sport for over 40 years. We believe that gymnastics is a great way to promote physical fitness, wellbeing and fun for all, regardless of age.
Our club is a charity run organisation and we have a range of classes for all levels, from preschool to advanced squads. We offer women's artistic, men's artistic and teamgym squads as well as recreational gymnastics.
We need a Level 3 Women's Artistic coach who can coach and lead women's artistic.
Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
