Full Job Description

  • Provide IT Support to schools primarily in the Stockport area, but also potentially to schools in the Warrington, Liverpool, Cheshire and Wirral, prioritising tasks and maintaining customer rapport

  • Recommend cost-effective IT solutions and manage software and hardware installations.

  • Maintain school equipment, including mobile devices and infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with the curriculum team and assist with school activities.

  • Write reports, process paperwork, and keep management informed.

  • Keep school information updated and conduct audits.

  • Assist with internal or external IT issues as needed.

  • Proficient in Windows servers, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and wireless infrastructure.

  • Some travel to our Head Office in Birkenhead.

  • Driving licence and own transport is essential, with business use on insurance policy

  • Must be able to obtain successful DBS outcome

  • Experience of working within a similar IT support role, Certificate of Higher Education (preferred), Technical support: 2 years (required)

  • Customer service: 1 year (required)
