Internal Sales Executive

This role is an extremely exciting opportunity to support our London Gateway office based in Basildon with new customer generation.

In this role you will be responsible for quoting new enquires with existing customers and supporting the sales team by generating warm leads on their behalf through a variety of business development methods including telesales and cold calling. We are therefore looking for an individual who is positive and resilient who will build strong relationships quickly and effectively with potential new customers.

We are looking for someone who has worked in an outbound call centre or sales generation role. Although industry experience would be advantageous, this is not essential as we will teach you everything you need to know. Training and development is really important to us as a business and we want everyone to succeed whilst working for us.,

• Previous experience of working in a sales or operational role within the logistics sector is desirable


• Experience of telesales/cold calling is essential


• Good understanding of transport and Worldwide logistics is desirable


• Strong resilience and positivity particularly in challenging situations


• Outstanding customer service skills


• Strong negotiation skills


• The ability to develop and build strong and personable relationships over the phone and in person with a broad range of individuals


• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player


• High attention to detail


• Accountability to yourself and others


• High IT literacy skills, telesales: 1 year (required)


• Freight Industry: 1 year (preferred)

We offer a competitive starting salary from £28,000 to £34,000 depending on experience,
