Fire stopper

Install fire-resistant materials, such as fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings

- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install fire stop systems

- Apply fire-resistant sealants and caulking around penetrations, joints, and gaps

- Fabricate and install fire-rated doors and windows

- Inspect existing fire stop systems for damage or deterioration

- Repair or replace damaged fire stop systems as needed

- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, roofers, plumbers, masons, and electricians, to ensure proper installation of fire stop systems

- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to fire safety regulations

Must have right to work documents and live within the UK.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Stopper to work on a week long job in St. Helens Liverpool. As a Fire Stopper, you will be responsible for installing fire-resistant materials to prevent the spread of fire within buildings. Your attention to detail and knowledge of fire safety regulations will be crucial., Proven experience as a Fire Stopper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and building codes

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to read and follow technical drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various working conditions

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
