Full Job Description

At Stenn, we provide innovative financing solutions to help our clients unlock capital in global supply chains. We have experienced exceptional growth to date and are now looking to grow our international business to $5bn of receivables in the next 5 years. To facilitate this, we require a Financial Accountant to join the team to provide support and insight. This is a great role for someone who wants to work in a fast paced environment and get exposure to multiple areas of Finance.,

  • Supporting the Finance team with strategic finance, tax and accounting issues

  • Full ownership of some of Stenn's legal entities, producing monthly management accounts and reporting, audited financials and being the day to day contact for accounting and tax questions

  • Day to day accounting tasks including sales and bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounting entries

  • Supporting finance in making finance operations (creditors, receivables processes) more efficient through automation and simplification of processes

  • Dealing with audit queries at interim and final stage

  • Support on treasury function including cash flow forecasting

  • Yield and pricing analysis on Stenn's various products

  • Management reporting including dashboards, graphs and KPIs

  • Strong IT input on accounting system and reporting tool - including maintenance and upgrades (data science side of fintech)

  • Regular day to day work supporting the wider finance team

  • Supporting work on capital financing including securitisation vehicles, ABS, equity and debt issuance

    Part qualified/qualified with a professional body such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA

  • Experience of working in the Financial Services sector

  • Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable working with senior management & non-finance colleagues
